Privacy Policy
Pick AI Prompt (PAi Prompt) (“we”, “us”) is operated by Codingrim Technology Solutions Private Limited. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the PAi Prompt mobile app and website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users there.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Codingrim Technology Solutions Private Limited is the data fiduciary (data controller) for your personal data. You can reach us, including our Grievance Officer, at support@codingrim.com or by post at 852A, Ward no: 15, Illathu Pillaimar Samuga Pothunala Fund, Tenkasi Road, Tamil Nadu, India.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, mobile number and/or email address, and the sign-in method you use (phone OTP or Google, through Google Firebase Authentication). We never see your Google password.
- Profile and billing details you choose to add: address, city, state, PIN code and, for business purchases, GSTIN. We use these on your tax invoices.
- Device and security data: an app installation ID (or, on the website, a browser ID), device model, operating system and app version, a push-notification token, IP address, sign-in times and the devices signed in to your account. On the website your sign-in is kept in secure cookies. We use this to keep your account secure, enforce the number of devices your plan allows and send you sign-in alerts.
- Usage data: prompts you view, copy, save, unlock or open in an AI app, searches, reviews and ratings you post, and in-app activity counts that apply your plan’s limits.
- Payment data: plan, amount, payment method type, payment and refund status and Razorpay reference IDs. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay and are never stored by us.
- Referral data: your referral code, who joined through it, and rewards issued, plus signals used to prevent referral fraud.
- Advertising data (free plan and signed-out visitors only): to show ads, Google AdMob in the app and Google AdSense on the website collect your device’s advertising ID or advertising cookies, approximate location (from your IP address), device information and ad interactions. We record which rewarded ads you finished so we can give you the extra unlock you earned.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics on the website and Google Analytics for Firebase in the app record the pages and screens you visit, how you arrived (for example from a search or a shared link), your device, browser and app version, approximate location (country and city, from your IP address), and events such as signing up and signing in. This is linked to a random identifier (an analytics cookie on the website, an app-instance ID in the app), not to your name, mobile number or email address.
- Communications: emails we send you (and whether they were delivered), your marketing preferences and messages you send to support.
We do not receive the photos you use in ChatGPT, Gemini or any other AI app. When you “open” a prompt in one of those apps, the prompt text is handed to that app on your device, and that app’s own privacy policy applies to what you do there.
3. Why we use it
- To create and secure your account, sign you in and protect it from misuse (performance of our contract with you; legitimate interests in security).
- To provide the service: show prompts, apply free and Premium limits, save your collections and sync them across your devices (contract).
- To take payments, issue GST invoices and credit notes, handle refunds and keep accounting records (contract; legal obligation under tax law).
- To send service messages: sign-in codes, sign-in alerts, receipts, subscription and refund updates (contract; legitimate interests).
- To send offers and news by email or push notification, only if you opted in; you can opt out at any time (consent).
- To show ads on the free plan and give you extra unlocks for watching rewarded ads (legitimate interests; consent for personalised ads where the law requires it). Premium plans have no ads.
- To run the referral programme and prevent fraud and abuse (contract; legitimate interests).
- To understand how the app and website are used and improve them, using aggregated statistics from Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics (on the website, analytics cookies only with your consent through the cookie banner; legitimate interests for the app’s statistics).
- To comply with law, respond to lawful requests and protect our rights (legal obligation; legitimate interests).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under contract, and only as needed:
- Google Firebase (authentication, push notifications, app integrity checks and app analytics).
- Google Analytics (website and app usage statistics). How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Razorpay (payments, subscriptions and refunds).
- Email delivery providers (to send our emails).
- Google AdMob and Google AdSense (ads in the free plan in the app and on the website). Google’s use of this data is described at the same address.
- Google Play (distributing the Android app, under Google’s own terms).
- Hosting and storage providers (servers, databases, backups and image storage).
- Government or law-enforcement authorities where the law requires it, and professional advisers such as auditors.
Some providers may process data outside India. Where that happens we rely on their contractual safeguards and, for EU/UK users, appropriate transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is active. If you ask to delete your account, it is permanently anonymised after a 30-day grace period, during which you can cancel the request.
- Invoices, payment and refund records: as long as tax and accounting laws require (currently at least six years), even after an account is deleted.
- Data export files: available to download for 7 day(s), then deleted.
- Security logs: for a limited period needed to protect the service.
- Analytics data: event-level data is kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months, then only aggregated reports remain.
6. Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent and object to certain processing. Most of this is available in the app under Profile → Privacy & data and Edit profile, and on the website under Profile. How to delete your account, step by step: Delete your account. See GDPR and Your Data Rights for details and how to complain to a regulator.
To limit analytics and ads: block or delete cookies in your browser (see our Cookie Policy), use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and on Android reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads. Premium plans show no ads.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls with two-step verification for our staff, activity logging, private storage with short-lived download links, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires.
8. Children
Pick AI Prompt (PAi Prompt) is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will show the new date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
10. Contact and grievances
Questions or complaints about your data: support@codingrim.com. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
